This morning I took Jack and Sophie to a baby signing class run by a company call TalkFirst based up here in Lancashire http://www.talkfirst.net .

Its not a new thing to me I took T for a year and a half when he was younger which he really enjoyed but then T started preschool each morning so we couldn’t go to the classes anymore. I took Jack for a term but he wouldn’t sit still or concentrate so I didn’t bother going back.

An opportunity arose for us to go again after a friend mentioning to us, at first I thought ooh no not with 2 of them and Jack being the live-wire he is, then I thought what the hell, sling the baby and see how it goes and you know what it was FAB. Jack loved it, was signing from the beginning, singing all the songs and loving the noisy toys all thanks to this chap, and the lovely sue.

Roll on 2 weeks when we can go again!

This blog is what made me want to start to crochet so I can produce items like this and other fun little things.

Now I am sure some of you will of noticed that In my introduction post to this challenge I used the word produce rather than make, mainly due to the fact that I wanted to cheat ever so slightly on this month.

For January I didn’t really do much crafting, I was taught how to crochet by a good friend of mine on new years eve which I am now really enjoying practicing on different yarns ,but at the end of January I did produce something.

After 9 months and one very long week I produced a baby girl into this world.

Her name is Sophie Elisabeth and she is utterly fabulous. The boys (all 3 of them ) are completely besotted with her, the cat not so much but I am sure she will win her over soon. So I am hopeful I can cheat little this month and have her as my first make challenge completed. Bxx

Oh dear oh dear, I have been spectacularly bad at updating this blog havent I. Sorry all please forgive me *drops to knees with pleading puppy dog eyes* Anyway enough of this apologetic stuff and I will get on with trying to blog more for you lovely people.

This blog started off as a 101 things to do list but as I seem to not be able to 1. Achieve most of them due to lack of time/ being bothered and 2. Forget most of the time that I have a list.

I have decided just to have this blog as a document of those little moments in my life that I need to get off my chest, I am immensely proud of or that make me happy in one way or another.
